Product detail
The case for a robot is not that it cleans better than a person. It is that a large open floor is repetitive work with a fixed route, and a machine that can hold that route without supervision releases the crew for detail work, washrooms and everything a machine still cannot do.
Teaching the route
The XR-60 is driven manually through the area once. It stores the path, the turns, the water and brush settings for each zone, and the docking approach. Editing a zone later does not mean re-teaching the whole floor.
Working around people
The machine is intended for occupied buildings, so it is specified to slow down and stop for people and obstacles rather than to plan around an empty room. Where a route is blocked it re-tries, then skips the zone and reports it, instead of stalling in a corridor until someone finds it.
Where it earns its place
Concourses, supermarket aisles, warehouse main runs, hospital corridors at night: long uninterrupted stretches with a predictable layout. On congested or frequently rearranged floors a walk-behind is still the faster machine, and we will tell you so.
